You 1st need to download the VMware, it is free for non commercial purpose. You can just download and install it.
Now you need to configure the VMware for installing Kali Linux. You can follow this post to configure VMware.

This is the installation screen you will see, when you will start the set up process..
The next step, here, Kali linux, will tell you to configure the network, you can configure the network or just skip the stpe by selecting that option in that picture indicated.
In this step you need to enter the host name..
Password...
Re-enter password...
Enter the Name of the user...
Time zone configuration by selecting clock. Though you can change the time later..
Just follow this steps. Hope that you can successfully install Kali Linux.
