All the documents we see in a web page, we have to store in
a place.This is called site management.As we are designing a page in off-line
we have to create a place where we want to keep our documents, images etc which
will be displayed in a web page.Through it no linking of that page never
damaged.For this option Dreamweaver has a menu :
Dreamweaver>>Site>>New site>>ok
A new window will occur. You have to give the site name as your desire.
In the next window you should give the server technology you
will use. Here we have chosen that, we don’t want to use server technology.
Because we are learning this in off-line.
By pressing next you have to chose where you needs to keep your file.You have to locate
that folder.All web pages should be save there & all the contains must be
keep there.
Next window ask you how do u use server tech.??
Should select no.Because we want to use off-line
server/local Hard-drive.
Finally your remote server
will be ready.TThe summery will be given of your configuration of your
local site.
And your local site will appear in the Dreamweaver.
